Jo Firestone

Brooklyn-based stand-up comic Jo Firestone has written and performed for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (NBC), The Chris Gethard Show (TruTv), Joe Pera Talks With You (Adult Swim) and has been heard on Dr. Gameshow (Earwolf, WFMU). She co-starred and co-wrote a web-series with her friend and partner-in-depressive-humor Aparna Nancherla called Womanhood. She also shined in a half-hour Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents special, which aired last year.

Jo’s debut comedy album, The Hits, covers a wide-range of topics, like yogurt, raisins, haircuts, and the “nasty business.” The Hits features an assist from Arcade Fire’s Will Butler, providing interstitial music (“like This American Life“).
